CommunicationEssentials: Skills To Help You Think, Speak And Act With Confidence!

"Having you facilitate our meeting showed me two things. First, I got to sit back and watch the dynamics that went into play when we got together. Second, I got to experience first-hand how your 'distinctions' changed people's behavior. Our meetings are more focused, more effective, and something people actually look forward to."

Meeting Facilitation

Ineffective meetings are a big source of frustration in the workplace.

Our meeting facilitation service offers you an opportunity to get significantly more out of your meetings by changing the way attendees behave, not just during the meetings, but in between too.

Whether you want your meetings to be more results-driven, to reach consensus more quickly, issue-bust more effectively or generate greater levels of creativity, we can show you how to take your meetings to the next level.

Short-Term Support: Fish for a Day
Partnering up with a CommunicationEssentials meeting facilitator maximizes your chances of producing an important result. Having a professional facilitator direct the dialogue gives you space to observe, think and take action in a way that isnÕt always possible when youÕre the only one steering the ship.

'Fish for a Day' facilitation is perfect for situations when you're short on time and/or opportunities but need to guarantee a specific outcome. Highly appropriate for that mission critical meeting that's just around the corner, or for groups that meet infrequently.

Longer Term Support: 'Fish for Yourself'
Showing meeting leaders how to produce these results for themselves makes sense in the medium- and long-term.

You can choose to be supported in any or all of the following ways:

  • Debriefing with the meeting leader to identify meeting dynamics and probable causes.
  • Debriefing with (a representative quorum, if not all) meeting attendees to identify issues from their perspective.
  • 'Fly on the wall' observation of an actual meeting.
  • Coaching the meeting leader in the key distinctions that, if used, would benefit them the most.
  • Facilitating one meeting. Purpose: to enable the meeting leader to observe the distinctions at work and gauge their impact.
  • Walking all participants through a meeting effectiveness 'how to' session. This is comprised of a theoretical session, followed by the scheduled meeting. Participants receive real time coaching on using the distinctions to guide their interaction.
